How the pro leisure tour became not so leisurely !

When Murph and I met 1o years ago, email address and all showed the world that he was officially on his pro leisure tour! He had just returned from 5 months of Kayaking in New Zealand and was heading back to Echo River Expeditions for his 7th season guiding on the Royal Gorge. After love at first site, I jumped on board the PLT and we spent the summer rafting in Idaho on the Salmon River, enjoying the sun and the surf in Maui, a sailing trip in CA and 21 days on the Grand Canyon! Wow, we had the honeymoon before I even convinced him to marry me. Years on the tour of playing in Colorado and Utah and eventually landing in Steamboat Springs, the PLT is now, as I said, not so leisurely but the tour itself is fabulous! We have added members to to the tour, Gavin Murphy, 3, who has his own mini PLT on a daily basis and Branigan, 4 months who really has his own PLT with a wet bar and wait staff. Oh, yes and Gunnar Murphy, 3 months old, the best puppy ever officially joined the tour 6 weeks ago. As if we didn't have enough going on and since we have become pro users of facebook we thought we would take on blogging! Stay tuned for enjoyable pictures, humorous adventures and join us in the countdown to when we will get back the leisure part of our tour.

Gavin is quite our little athlete! He jumped on skis at 18 months, his favorite place to ski besides his home turf in Steamboat is at "The Wood", Kirkwood,CA with his cousins, Casey, Frank, Nora and Amelia. He loves to bike and has his own personal style on his orange Strider. He toured this spring in Kirkwood and then headed to Santa Cruz where he made an appearance at the Sea Otter Classic to give our friend Kyra some racing tips. He then went to Downeville, CA, home of the Downeville Downhill to share the trail with his buddy Zach.
